Discipline Specific Show Information

Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Eventing competitions all have different rules: Read on to find out more.

Eventing Competitions

Memberships

You need a United States Eventing Association (USEA) membership (Full, Junior, Collegiate, or Life)

Your horse needs either a Limited or Full registration, though these are optional for the lowest Starter level but required for points/championships, plus you'll need a USEF (US Equestrian) membership for higher levels/FEI, and potentially an FEI membership for international competitions.

Vaccinations

Required: documentation for Equine Influenza (EIV) and Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1/4) vaccinations within six months of the competition, plus a current negative Coggins/EIA test (within 12 months), to be on the grounds, with specific timing rules (no shots within 7 days of arrival) for FEI events.
